Aspects of Beauty: Tragedy

Dec. 11, 2014 8:00pm at The Mercury Theater, Baltimore, MD

Aspects of Beauty is a new show featuring performing artists - that looks for the beauty in a new subject for every show. The show is produced by Charm City's Sicilian Queen, Maria Bella (Gilded Lily Burlesque) and improv director Prescott Gaylord (Baltimore Improv Group), and asks artists to tackle a single subject, asking the question - "What do you find beautiful about...."

They have had comedians, burlesque acts, tango dancers, story tellers and many others take the challenge.

The next show is on tragedy, and will feature improv, spoken word poetry, burlesque, body painting, and again - beautifully tragic true stories. "Aspects of Beauty - Tragedy" will feature:

Maria Bella - burlesque

Lekker - from ...the Baltimore Improv Group - tragic improv

Mourna Handful - burlesque

Cherie Nuit - burlesque

David Ross (from The 5th L) - spoken word poetry

Valeria Voxx- burlesque

Patricia Tamariz - paintings and live body paint

Stories by John Higgins and Ti Coleman

The show will be at the Mercury Theater - 1823 N. Charles Street
